Warranty Coverage
At Midwest Autobahnd we specialize in paint protection film installation. As of 2012, XPEL Ultimate has been the best and only choice for our customers. Our company takes pride in every installation and offers a lifetime warranty for any defects in the material or workmanship. This means any installation defects related to the quality of our workmanship, will be repaired or replaced forever, free of charge. Also if there are any defects in the material (which can happen with any manufacturer), we will also fix forever, free of charge. Thank you for your business!
Claims Process
To file a claim you simply call us at our Chicago office: (312) 386-1566. We will determine (promptly with a picture text message) if it is covered under warranty or not. If it is a warranty issue we will immediately schedule a time to repair or replace the affected areas at the selling dealer, our downtown facility or the customer home if the garage space allows. Typically if the film is damaged in any way; it is not covered. Scrapes or tears in the film is what we most commonly see which means, in many cases the film has done its job and saved the paint. Our reputation will support the fact that we take care of our customers and will replace damaged pieces at a fair cost.
Midwest Autobahnd handles all claims ASSOCIATED with our installations REGARDLESS IF Installed THROUGH A DEALER OR DIRECTLY WITH A CUSTOMER. There is no need to contact XPEL. HOWEVER their 10 year warranty coverage is detailed below and their warranty card will be provided in every single Midwest Autobahnd installation TO BACK UP OURS.

Warranty Coverage
XPEL warrants XPEL Ultimate Paint Protection Film to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 10 years from the date of purchase. Covered defects include: yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering and delaminating. This warranty does not extend coverage to damage caused by normal wear and tear, road debris impact, accidents, collisions or intentional damage of any kind.
Claims Process
To file a claim, contact us and we will take care of valid claims. In the event that you are unable to contact the original Authorized XPEL Installer, for any reason, please contact XPEL at (800) 447-9928 or support@xpel.com. You must retain your warranty card, a copy of your original receipt identifying coverage areas and remit to XPEL as requested to process your claim. For valid claims, XPEL will have us remove and reapply XPEL Protection Film to areas determined to be covered by the warranty including parts and labor.
Limitations
The warranty and remedies described above are the exclusive warranties available. Authorized XPEL Installers do not have authorization to modify or extend the warranty in any fashion. XPEL will be solely responsible for determining the validity of all claims and reserves the right to deny claims that do not meet the criteria as described above. The replacement of the defective film, including parts and labor is the exclusive remedy: liability does not extend to any other damages, incidental, consequential or otherwise. Reimbursement for labor charges covered by this warranty will be made directly to the Authorized XPEL Installer and will be calculated by using the coverage allowance published by XPEL.
